Klimt 1918 "Undressed Momento"

::: Review taken from Centra Extreme Metal Webzine, Indonesia, October 2003 :::
Style: Progressive Metal

This is a brand new sensational act in post-modern music for decadent age! Klimt 1918 used to death metal band which has changed the direction into intimist style with unique and desolate atmosphere enshrouded by vibrant guitars full of melancholia, this band hailing from Italy with their new direction in avantgarde sounds between alternative gothic extraordinary new wave in the vein of The Cure, The Smiths, early U2, The Police, Duran Duran, The Beatles, Tears For Fears even new bands such as Opeth, Novembre also Katatonia. I was really impressed with this album though in their new material more focused in different sonorities then their previous effort, however you could hear some double bass blast as they used to play death metal passages. The clean vocals (remind me to Sting of early The Police) combined with melodic rhythm and keyboards touches. Worth checking out!!!
