Klimt 1918 "Undressed Momento"

::: Review taken from Quintessence Metal Webzine, U.S.A. :::

One of those odd-named bands that throw me off but they originate back in 1999 as ashes from Another Day with Marco and Paolo Soellner. The band was more of a Death Metal act compared to what Klimt 1918 is all about.
"Undressed Momento" is just one terrific breath of fresh air coming out of Europe musically. This 9-track is 46½ minutes of Atmospheric/Melancholic Metal with a lot of New Wave and 80-ish influences. Anything from U2, The Police, Duran Duran to Lords Of The New Church, Anathema, Sentenced, Lacuna Coil and Sisters Of Mercy. You can assume it's a bit on the mellow side but you have to hear this band with all these melodies and harmonies that just spew with fluid ease - just a fantastic listening experience and recommended for those who have a broad state of listening horizons.
