-----oooOooo-----

This is a release from May, but I enjoy to listen to it in November. The music is just like this month: filled with melancholy, tears and emotions.
After the strange intro, the first song begins and I feel that I will like this music, because of the many feelings in it. Also the orchestration is nice, with mellow and beautiful vocals, which is owned by Marco Soellner, who is also one of the guitarists. Marco's brother is the drummer, so it's like family business.
I can find some snippets of Anathema, Opeth, Katatonia or Novembre when I'm getting deeper. Two members of Novembre helped the guys in studio: the orchestral parts were made by Massimiliano Pagliuso, Giuseppe Orlando made some backing vocals. There are many styles in Klimt 1918's music, from double kickdrum things to acoustic melodies. Typical music for dreaming, you know, darkened room, candlelight, sad thoughts or just pondering on nothing.
It's strange that they sing a few lines in Italian too, that parts reminded me to pop music (not because of the language but the orchestration) but it's not bad. This song ("We don't need no music") could be their radio hit.
I can't emphasize individual songs, just like in an Opeth review, this album is an emotion flow from the beginning to the end. Sometimes my heart is breaking, but it's just normal with this music.
The last song is a bit heavier, which is strange but a good surprise. I don't know the full artwork only the front cover, but that picture is perfect for the music, simple but full of feelings.
So, this album is absolutely recommended for the fans of the above mentioned bands.
Oh, my heart is heavy again, did I need this...?
