Klimt 1918 "Dopoguerra"

::: Review taken from Tartarean Desire, Sweden :::

"Dopoguerra", which means postwar period, is the second full length album of the avant-garde Italian band Klimt 1918. This album, as one can expect, is unlike anything you have ever heard, but there are lots of déjà vu moments in their music since they are highly influenced by several bands of several genres as diverse as Rock and Roll and Death Metal. Although the band's general sound is different from all the other bands of the overpopulated metal scene, there is not much difference between the tracks themselves. Almost all tracks have a fast pace and the vocalist has a great control over his voice and can keep up with the fast tracks as well as the slower ones. This band totally defies classification, but with this wide range of sounds, it is not clear whether it will find a regular fan base among the listeners. Favourite tracks: "Dopoguerra", "Sleepwalk in Rome".
