Klimt 1918 "Undressed Momento"

::: Review taken from Tragenda - Top Album :::
Style: Avantgarde metal

After the astonishing Room with a View's debut, My Kingdom Music is back with another masterpiece of Alternative, Avantgarde music. This time is the debut album from Italy's Klimt 1918. "Undressed Momento" is melancholic, sensuous, full of different passions and emotions, an album on the verge of madness - this is exactly what we need in this times of totally copycat depressive gothic rock. It is alive and that's the only thing that matters. Katatonia, Novembre, Anathema, 80's pop, The Cure are among the inspiration sources of the band, but these are worked out and mixed in a truly perfect waydelivering to the music an innovative sound. The arrangements are very good, with a variety and the music changes from aggressive to acoustic, as much as the various emotions of their music. Another good thing is the electronic stuff used only in the background. This helps in the creation of the atmosphere of the album, and works very good for the music. The production is good enough, clear enough, and reveals all the little details of the music. A truly magnificent debut to overwhelm the sadness in you.
